28mm Nexus

This is the opposite number to the Kryomek.

Very nice models and I especially like the smaller walker and the robots.

28mm Kryomek

I really enjoyed painting these, I like painting things that are easy.

Never been used since my mate Paul Mitchel moved away back in 1994? ish but one day they will skitter hungrily accross the table-top again.

2x Warmaster, 12 x Warriors, 2xTanks, 44x Helions (so 5 of them are ‘star beasts’..who cares, not me)

28/25mm Star Base

What to say? It is what it is a Starbase.

Primarily intended for Kryomek but obviously it is versatile.

28mm Undead Army

Skeletons…well a man has gotta have an army of undead at  his diposal.

Mostly this lot came from the good old days of a plastic boxed set that cost £10 an included cavalry, infantry and a chariot. Some also from Hero Quest.

Plenty of flying carrion things that I always had a soft spot for. The unit of ghosts are just spare minis from somewhere else painted gloss white, never could understand why anyone paid a fortune for a ‘ghost’. Always wanted one of those huge skeleton giants that Ral Partha? did but never quite got around to it.

Anyway, these have also lived in their box since around 1989 but they are undead, so they don’t mind.

28mm Wood Elf Army

Wood Elves…

Its been probably 20 years since these have been out of their box, and they are now back in it again. Still who said it was easy to be an Elf?

I cant recall all the manufacturers but mostly they are Citadel/Games Workshop with the odd Ral Partha mini in there (I think).

2 tree ents, a bear, eagle and around 50 elves + associated character models. Most of these came from a Woodelf boxed set that was aroound in the 1980’s but I can’t remember the name of it.

Edit – funny how these things come back when you are not thinking about them. I am fairly sure the boxed set was called Skarlocks woodelf archers…or something like that.
